For many people, anxiety occurs under specific stres
sful situations. For others, anxiety is always with
them every minute of the day, causing problems in
all areas of their life.  Physical symptoms of chest pains, shortness of breath,
and digestive disorders as well as avoidance of activities,
poor concentration and distracting thoughts can disrupt
a person's normal functioning. With our treatment, one
can conquer the cycles of fear and self-defeat caused
by anxiety.

Eating Disorders can take many forms: Anorexia, Bulimia, compulsive overeating, binge eating without purging, and night eating. The reasons behind eating disorders are multiple and varied and thus require an individualized approach. The primary factors in the eating disorder for one person may not be exactly the same factors for another individual with the same diagnosis. The Center for Behavior Medicine’s staff are aware of the need for an individualized treatment plan.
